PHILOSOPHY - Tuscany and the small towns we visit are walking places and we walk every day, seeing vistas, piazzas and iconic locations. We do ride public and private transportation but inside walled cities and exploring many destinations, we walk. Stairs are an Italian way of life and elevators are an exception, not the norm. You needn’t be an athlete ready to run track-and-field, but if walking for extended periods on cobblestone streets or up and down stairs is a concern, this is probably not the experience for you.

The Perfect Time To Be In Italy!
Our group is focused on photography and tends to meander slowly: looking at every little thing, everywhere; stopping, shooting, taking five steps and shooting some more. When our group is together, we encourage you taking lots of pictures. We immerse you in the Italian experience and are alongside to help you capture moments to remember, sitting on your couch back home.
We've built in free time for you to explore on your own, sit in a street café with an expresso, visit a museum or just stay in your room.

INTINERARY:

DAY 1: Check-in hotel. Free afternoon. Welcoming Party and Orientation to meet fellow travelers, discuss the trip’s daily activities, photo contest and prizes. Take off your watches, silence your phones and get a good night’s sleep for a BIG day tomorrow!
DAY 2: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. VIP tour of Florence's picturesque vistas and hidden treasures. Group lunch included followed by a visit to The Academia and Michelangelo’s David. Free evening to explore. Dinner is on your own.
DAY 3: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. Private transportation to the hilltop Tuscan village of Cortona. Free afternoon to shop and explore with lunch on your own. Silhouette and blue light photoshoot followed by group dinner.
DAY 4: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. Private transportation to the city of Assisi. Group lunch followed by a free afternoon to explore and enjoy this Umbrian walled city. Transport back to Cortona.. Free evening to explore. Dinner on your own.
DAY 5: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. Private transportation to Pienza, world-famous for peccorino cheese. Group cheese tasting included. Then on to San Quirco d’Orcia for lunch. Free afternoon to explore. Free evening with dinner on your own.
DAY 6: Breakfast 6am-9am. Private transportation to San Gimignano, a medieval hill town known for its fine towers. Group walking tour. Free afternoon to explore, shop, wine and cheese tasking. Group dinner is included followed by transportation back to Cortona.
DAY 7: Breakfast 6am-9am. Optional Q&A or image review. Free morning with lunch on your own. Private transportation to San Sepolcro in the province of Arezzo for the annual medieval crossbow festival. Evening transport to Cortona for group farewell dinner.
DAY 8: Breakfast 6am-9am. Hotel checkout by 11am. Transfers to Florence airport or train station on your own. Wherever you go, you take with you wonderful memories and great pictures of your Picture Perfect Italy experience. Grazie mille y arrivederci!
