PHILOSOPHY - Rome and Florence are walking cities and we walk every day, seeing vistas, piazzas and iconic locations. We do ride public and private transportation but inside walled cities and exploring many destinations, is a walking experience. Stairs are an Italian way of life and elevators are an exception, not the norm. You needn’t be an athlete or in shape for track-and-field, but if walking for extended periods on cobblestone streets or up and down stairs is a concern, this is probably not the experience for you.

Our group is focused on photography and tends to meander slowly: looking at every little thing, everywhere; stopping, shooting, taking five steps and shooting some more. When our group is together, we encourage you taking lots of pictures. We immerse you in the Italian experience and are alongside to help you capture moments to remember, sitting on your couch back home.
We've built in free time for you to explore on your own, sit in a street café with an expresso, visit a museum or just stay in your room.

DAY 1: Check-in our hotel. Free afternoon. Welcoming Party and Orientation to meet fellow travelers, discuss the trip’s daily activities, photo contest and prizes. Take off your watches, silence your phones and get a good night’s sleep for a BIG day tomorrow!
DAY 2: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. All-day VIP chauffeured tour of Rome: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and more. Group lunch with the locals! Free evening on your own for exploring or relaxing. Dinner is on your own.
DAY 3: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. “Meet Trastevere” 2-hour walk-about with Bob & Jill. Free afternoon with lunch on your own. Group dinner followed by a midnight shoot, walking to The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and The Spanish Steps.
DAY 4: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. Free morning on your own (VIP Vatican Tour optional). Castel Sant’Angelo & Campo Di Fiori, followed by group lunch. Then to Piazza Venezia, Il Vittoriano monument photo shoot. Free evening with dinner on your own.
DAY 5: Breakfast 6am-9am. Leave Rome on train to Florence @9am. Arrive Florence hotel @11am. Exclusive 2-Hour Tour of Florence. Afternoon free with lunch on your own. Group dinner @7pm. Bob & Jill’s Florence Walk to Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Faux David.
DAY 6: Breakfast 6am-9am. Take train to Pisa @10am. Q&A on the train. Group lunch. Group All-Access visit includes walk up the Leaning Tower, Cathedral and museums. Train back to Florence and free evening with dinner on your own to explore Florence.
DAY 7: Breakfast 6am-9am. Photography tips 9-10am. Visit Academia and “David.” Bob & Jill’s walk-about of Mercato Centrale. the Medici Duomo, street vendors and Il Duomo. Free afternoon with lunch on your own. Group dinner. Optional night photo shoot after dinner.
DAY 8: Breakfast 6am-9am. Checkout by 11am. Transfers to Florence airport or train station are on your own. Wherever you go, you take with you wonderful memories and great pictures of your Picture Perfect Italy experience. Grazie mille y arrivederci!
GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
Our groups are small by design, 14 people maximum. so there's no huge throng of people following some tour guide holding a flag. You'll discover new friends and new experiences that you'll never forget.
